Why You Need To Communicate On Defense
Defensive Drills help you understand, if my teammate gets beat, I got to be there to help. If I help, then my teammates are going to help me.
This is the chemistry that you have to work on. That’s the thing I see that we struggle a lot in the game because we are not all on the same page. Everybody has their different agendas and what they want to do in the game. But that’s not the way the game works though. That’s not how you don’t be successful.
Problem With Chasing Stats
You may put up individual stats, but at the end of the day, when scouts and recruits are looking at you, what’s going happening is they’ll say “This person ain’t about team, it’s about themself. That’s not what I’m looking for.” That’s exactly what they are going to think.
Make sure that you communicate because in the game, I don’t hear you guys talking. “Defense. I got him. Get number 8. Get number 15.” I wasn’t hearing none of that. None of us are mind readers.
If you are the anchor in the middle, you’ve gotta be one of the vocal leaders. And if your teammate is not in the back, then somebody else other in the back got to talk. You all got to be on the same page.
Did This Help You? If so, I would greatly appreciate it if you commented below and shared on Facebook
