In the video we have 3rd grade highlights of are last game. The team did a good job but still have a lot to build upon.
Mic’d Up…
Pass it and you’ve got to cut through, but when they’re trying to trap, you can’t dribble to the trap. Pass the ball quick. If two people are on you that means somebody is open.
You got to make a quick decision. It doesn’t mean get the ball and put your head down. It means catch it, see what I have, fake a pass. Make a pass.
Team Huddle…
I don’t know how many times we’ve gotta say this after every game, after every practice. We put you in a position for you to be successful. If you get out of that position you’re not only compromising your success but the team’s success.
When we say, “Go here, and then you go there. Wait, no. He’s supposed to be right there.” You are playing by your own rules out there. That is fine if you guys are okay with that result. If you continue to play like that and you are good with the result, that’s cool.
But it’s not cool for us, meaning that we are going to get people who are going to understand what we’re trying to teach. And that’s what we’re trying to do. We’re trying to teach you and make you understand the game of basketball.
Did This Help You? If so, I would greatly appreciate it if you commented below and shared on Facebook
